Epilepsy Arts
Out-Side-in is setting up a groundbreaking creative arts project to help people with epilespy explore the psyhological impact of epilepsy on their life through artistic expression.
The project will start with a one day
Creative Arts Workshop
on Friday 18th May 2012
from 10.30am to 4.30pm
at Toynbee Studios in London E1
Participants in this workshop will be able to use creativity to explore the emotional difficulties attached to living with epilepsy, meet people with similar experiences and share ways of managing epilepsy.
The workshop will also be a chance to explore the link between epilepsy and creativity and to give participants an opportunity to work with their creative and imaginative self. The workshop will help participants to find personal ways of developing their inner strength and confidence.
The workshop will be facilitated by Susan Jacques and J. F. Jacques who have both direct personal experience of epilepsy.
Fee: £15 for the day
